Ballina Town Park Playground

About the project
The award wining Ballina Town Park playground opened to the public Spring 2013, catering for children of all ages and abilities.

The playground is broken into two areas – a toddler and senior areas. The toddler area includes cradle swings, a bicycle roundabout, a multi-play unit and much more.
The senior area has a central tower unit, a cable way, a 6 seater contact swing, seesaw, trim trail equipment and much more.

Also incorporated into the playground are hill mounds which were used to segregate the two areas and it also acts as a wind breaker. The biggest advantage of hill mounds is that increase the play value for children, giving them a sense of adventure and it also encourages fitness.
