Wood Fibre Safety Surfacing is made from 100% recycled soft wood fibres. The fibres knit together to form a stable, long-lasting, slip resistant surface, giving excellent absorption against impact.
The wood chips used are of ‘play grade’ quality and contain no rough edges. Wood fibre can be installed to a depth of 300mm suitable for a critical fall height of up to three meters.
A weed barrier membrane is installed underneath it and special scent is added to the Wood fibre to discourage animals from entering the area. Rain water passes through, so children can play right after it rains.
It is designed with safety, fun and children in mind and will provide your play area with a rustic natural feel.
Wood Chip Mulch has been tested in accordance with the requirements of BS EN 1177 Standards and is wheelchair friendly.
