About the project
This project was a design and build tender where the client requested us to come up with a design for a Playground, MUGA and Adult Exercise Park. It is a green site with extremely poor ground conditions. We designed a natural park that blends in with the background location of Lough Mask to one side and mountains overlooking.
The playground is constructed from Robinia Hardwood and is complemented with grass mounds and Tiger Mulch surfacing with tarmac paths running through the play area as part of an overall site walkway.
Equipment includes:
- 3 different types of swings to cater for all ages and abilities
- Junior and Senior Multi Play Units
- Springers
- Cableway
Adult exercise stations are located around the walkway. Various equipment was installed to give a complete workout to both upper and lower body muscles.
A HUSSON MUGA 27.5m x 13m completes the part and is finished with artificial grass surfacing along with an additional basketball area.
